Random quick question; when removing unnecessary parts from under the hood, like lifting eyes or brackets, is there any reason to replace the bolts, or can the holes be left empty?

There is quite a bit you can do to clean up under the hood if you so desire. One could eliminate the engine hoist brackets, the alternator support bar, the MAP sensor bracket. You can do a wire tuck. Etc, etc.
