I did, what ended up happening was the gauge I have has a range of 100 degrees F to 240 degrees F. so far it hasn't shown anything above 100, so I'm not real sure what the actual coolant temperature is. I'm in the process of fixing an exhaust leak, and when that is done, I have a different gauge that will display temps down to 64 degrees F. the way the gauge works is that there is a sensor in the front mount heat exchanger, so it reads the actual temperature of the coolant in the intercooler system. my next project will be to install an air temp sensor below the intercooler so I can see what the air temp is of the air going into the engine.

I had hood clearance issues with my full size phenolic intercooler and special edition hood, but I had lowering springs with motor and transmission mount spacers to raise the engine and transmission back up in order to correct some of the axle geometry. so its possible my engine and transmission were a bit higher then they should have been. I have since removed the lowering springs and spacers, but I don't have the special edition hood installed anymore.

Is the price for the full-size phenolic intercooler for an L67 still the $549? I get paid on the 12th of this month and will most likely purchase one then. I have the aluminum one installed now and I want to try the phenolic one out to test any noticeable difference. I have a major vacuum leak between the intercooler and the LIM so i thought if i have to take it off i might as well upgrade to the phenolic.

my dumbass didn't realize that the outlet was bigger than the inlet on the gen 3. for some dumb reason I thought there were 3 different intercoolers, not the first time I've been wrong, and probably won't be the last
