I saw this video ZZP made to show how bad aluminium can get heat soaked and how phenolic is impervious to heat soak. video is boring, but interesting at the same time.

This is there article about phenolic.

just out of curiosity, is the heater core you use the biggest one you could find that would fit?
I'm thinking about doing a turbo build with your intercooler. the stock gen 5 supercharger will flow 540 cfm of air, and according to a friend, 600 cfm of air needs to flow to support 400 hp, so I'm trying to figure out if the sc case is more restrictive or the lim. but I thought you said you machine your manifolds so they are larger than a gen 5, so it should flow real close to 600 cfm. make sense?
The opening are bigger then stock gen 5 but I don't have any flow numbers.
Do you have any gen v to l67 adapters and how much for the supercharger green coupler and 2 bottles of oil
Gen 5 to L67 w/bolts $80
Green coupler (flat) $12
2 GM oil. $20.
All shipped together USA. $112
I bought a temperature gun! 18 miles drive, just driving home from work! Gen 5 supercharger with new hybrid phenolic intercooler temperature versus water neck temperature. Both surfaces are aluminum and that's pretty close to what the Aeroforce gauge said.
97 degrees difference because of phenolic intercooler.

Ran into town and actually did a little run before I shut it down.
Water neck
Intercooler
Air cleaner.
Gotta find a all aluminum core and do the comparison. Also get the blower temp as well. I'm all for grabbing a core from you at some point, and sell my polished core I have now.
Are you measuring the IC on the phenolic or top plate?
Nice illustration
Did it again.
Top of supercharger versus water neck.

Are the gen v snout bolts the same as a gen 3
threads should be the same, but the bolt heads might be different
The bolt lengths are different
Wait..nvm you are looking at the snout bolts..my bad..im not sure.
I got a gen v but it's missing the snout bolts I think the rotors are from a different case I don't know if I am going to use it yet
