Alright, I've got an '05 Grand Prix. Today when getting off work, I hopped in my car. Now, usually I have to pump the accelerator once for it to level out and stay running when I start up. I did this, and noticed that I pumped it once and it surged as if I was pumping the accelerator 3-4 times. I threw it in drive, and it's got very little power to it. It runs as if I'm just tapping the accelerator. The RPMs get up and stay around 4.5K when I'm holding the pedal steady, but it still surges like I'm tapping and is even worse on a hill. I made it home and am a bit at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.

Interesting. I just went out to start it and double check the light. It started and ran fine a couple times around my apartment complex. I did not pump it when starting this time. I did when starting it when it had the issue. I had plans on going out of town this weekend. Wondering if it would be wise to go ahead with that or to take my truck. It's not ever done this to me before. I had the transmission rebuilt a few months ago, replaced the serpentine belt yesterday as well as some fluids. Just want to catch the issue, if there is one, before it becomes bad/expensive.

Clean MAF, throttlebody, air intake filter...
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
