In my ranger it had slack in the cable, using a few zip ties opened up a good bit of acceleration. Is it the same for are cars or are we suppose to be able to lift the gas pedal up a good bit. I don't have time really now to pop off the intake and take a look.

The way the cable snakes into the throttle bracket and the design of the end fittings it allows you to pull up on the gas pedal. But there is no slack in the system.

Ah alright, I found it to be weird. It had a lot of slack and I was worried because this car already pulls pretty damn hard and thought if the TB was only opening a certain amount then I'd be in for big trouble if it wasn't even running wot.
