So I recently found out that the GMPP square trailing arms and Dorman trailing arms are the same damned thing. I found out there was square GMPP arms last night, and did some digging then found a thread on an Impala SS that upgraded his stock suspension to BMR. Important thing is he included this pic:

So I ran out to my car and did a quick measure with my tape measure of my Dorman...just under 3\4 inch. So there is no difference? Sucks cuz I just bought some GMPP bars, then found out after the fact that some GMPPs were square and naturally the ones I bought were square, lol.

Am I missing something or are they the same f*cking thing?

Likely Dorman could be the manufacturer or the manufacturer that bought up the rights to the parts.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

If only they were mine, lol. I'll probably end up getting some HT motorsports at a later date. Thanks to a badass seller I was able to get a refund, so no harm no foul.

The GMPP trailing arms on mine are tubular. Bought them many years ago.

At some point they changed them to the Dorman (square) style. Not too sure when they did though.
