I have 2005 base Grand Prix with 3.8 that has 225k miles on it. For bout 8-9 months when I start it sometimes it will have a miss in it. But if I turn it off then start it again the miss will be gone? Thought that I might have sum trash in the tank but I also am leaking sum anti-freeze somewhere on the backside of the motor by the firewall. I figured if it was a head gasket it would have already blown.... Car don't run hot just gotta put bout a gallon in it bout every month. Any suggestions?

As far as the coolant leak, check your heater core hoses and coolant elbows.

As far as the miss, when was the last time the plugs and wires were changed?

One of my elbows blew out bout a year ago. I replaced those and I changed my plugs and wires at the same time. I was thinking there's trash in my tank? Cause if I shut car off then start it right back up it won't miss.....these cars don't have inline fuel filters do they? I thought they were in the tank.

^^ No it sure dont. The 2004's had them, but the 05+ did not.
