My upper polys have wear on them and thus squeak from time to time.

The engine is slowly enlongating the hole.

Something to keep in mind a little ways down the road.

Unfortunately I did not. I fell as though it dropped about an inch in the rear and about an inch and a half in the front.

How bad of a squeak do they make? Do you notice a huge difference in performance/reliability?

I've had them on my car for three years.

I bought them used from someone who had them on their car for a number of years as well.

So if they last five years, thats pretty good. Your car might not be safe to drive due to rust by then haha.

The improvement in feel at shifts is worth it.

They'll only make noise going in and out of the driveway, which is a pretty large bump, at higher speeds than what is comfortable.

See I can live with an inch and half drop up front, but I keep getting mixed reviews about coilover or strut spring combo. I know its only a couple hundred difference but im just trying to be realistic about this car. I mean I dont want to pour money into this thing. And its a daily and I drive a ton........

coilovers will ride way, way better for the same amount of drop as springs. no questions about it.

By this do you mean comfortable ride quality or performance handling ride quality? Both?
