So a couple of weeks ago I found out my rear calipers were leaking. On top of that I must not have prepped the surface correctly when I applied the G2 caliper paint so some of it is "flaking" off. I have another box of G2 paint sitting, but I think I'm gonna go powdercoating at work this time as I have another full set of calipers and brackets.Did some research around the interwebz, probably do a write up as well. I know you got to remove all the components, but my question deals with the rears. In '05 (I think '04 too) the rears had the spring park braking system. How much of a PITA is this to remove? I'm going to experiment around with them a little. I was also thinking about putting writing on them.... thoughts? I thought about painting them on, but also thought about vinyls. If anyone has anything they want to chime in about powdercoating/rebuilding calipers feel free to chime in. I also have the rebuild directions from the GM service manual.
