The other option you have is to buy a used set of bilstein or Koni, etc that are wore out and send them off to a race shop that rebuilds shocks and have them custom valved so it is something like a SCCA car would run, that way you can run lower heights and stiffer rates. I just so happen to work for Hyperco(a racing spring supplier) and have the right connections, so I found a junked set of Koni's that are only costing me the rebuild and custom valving. I will have less in all 4 struts than the cost of 1 agx. But like I said, I have connections with the racing world, lol.

Only problem there is: you won't have much traction on bumpy roads.

I have an answer for that too. I am going to "stack" my coilover springs to make a progressive rate. Or at least try it. That is the great thing about my job, I have access to over any coilover spring I could ever dream of, at the low, low price of FREE! On top of that, I pretty well know what can be accomplished by stacking springs and am more than willing to be a "test" car. So after I try it, I will let everybody know how it turns out.

good point on used struts. The ones on my grand prix now are still in good shape but no clue what brand. Just know their blue. There was a guy on ultimatesubaru.org who figured out how to make his stiffer for his legacy my getting oilfilled struts, draining them and refilling them with either more oil than before or a heavier oil type fluid.

ok this is a question for those of you that have made rear coil-overs. what did you do with the sway bar mounting. did you just not use a sway bar in the rear or is there a relocation kit. i am making my fronts as of now and the rears seem to be about the same amount of work just that sway bar mount is in the way is i where to cut it off to put sleeve all the way down. if i get really short sleeves and springs i feel ill have the ebay coil over ride. i dont want that if my fronts are done the right way. thanks in advance for any help guys
