So I have ebaichs with some blown Gr2s and blown strut mounts. Im getting some agxs and replacing all the strut mounts but didnt know if I should get new springs too. I dont know how many miles are on the springs because I bought it used but my rear is about an inch lower then the front. Will that be fixed with new struts?

Eibachs are known to have rear sagging issues especially the first generation eibachs.

I just put in monroe quick struts all the way around on my grand prix and it sits nice and level. Been in for a good month and a half now. It used to sag. I used the sensa tracs models not the econo line.

its fairly typical, but if you actually measure the fenders from the center of the hub i bet you they are pretty close. the shape of the fenders is different.

I fixed this problem on my 99 GTX by getting a piece of steel reinforced rubber belting that was 1" thick and roto-zipped 2 rings out. installed them between the spring and upper mount. And it had Eibachs.. 7 years later, still no sag

I have read about others doubling up on the rear rubber spring isolator to add more height.

gonna revive this one instead of creating a new thread...

how does one tell if they have 1st gen eibachs? the rear on my gp is sagging hard with eibachs. i was hoping that the springs are tired (if that makes sense) . thats about the only thing it could be...

if your rear end is sagging, its your springs. struts will not change ride height.

ok, i didn't think the eibachs would fail like they did but the car gets parked in the yard during the winter and the snow lays on the car all winter so maybe that didn't help.
