I did the F body upgrade, changed out both wheel hubs and outer tie rod bushings. Then got new tires. The next day I got the alignment done and it feels real good! Stays straight as an arrow...

Until i hit the breaks. light braking is no issue but moderate to hard breaking and the car pulls hard to the left. HARD.

More details, The swap was all used parts. I had the rotors turned and they look great. The calipers are used but in good condition. All the brackets and clips are used and looked good once on the car.
The break pads are technically used but were practically new. I used the stock break hose for the car on the F body calipers. I did bleed them correctly. I get a light (squeak.. squeak.. squeak) while turning ether way.

Aside from all of that, everything else feels good. The stirring is tight and light breaking feels good.

One of my friends said it might be a mixing valve issue... Is this a common thing to happen, that I missed in reading through old posts about the swap? Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like one is dragging. Did you clean out the caliper bracket and whatnot of old grease and then re-lube the slide pins when you put it together?

And no, it's not an issue with the "proportioning" valve.

I just half ass wiped the clips off and applied new grease. Should I take it all apart and clean the crap out of it? I did clean the slide pins real good and grease them.

does it pull while on the brakes? or after you let off them? the hose could be bad, they rot inside and clogg up and turn into a one way valve.

or the caliper could be messed up, im sure you compressed the pistons at some point, was that smooth going on both calipers?

If it does turn out to be a bad caliper, and by some chance it happens to be the left one (RH on the Fbody), I have a freshly rebuilt and cleaned caliper sitting on a shelf...

    Just saying...

F body calipers have been known to spread, might be worth taking a glance at your rotors. Make sure your right caliper isn't just making partial contact with the rotor towards the outside. Could make it pull to the left if the left has full contact, but the right doesn't. I had a spread set, went to c5 calipers.

^^ Another reason why I went with the 06+ Imp calipers instead of the F-body ones.

They seemed to be smooth when I compressed them. The seals looked good and everything looked good. It only pulls to the left when hard breaking. Id hate to play a guessing game and just start replacing things until its better but that seems like my only option at this point. I could probably replace everything for the same price to have someone diagnose what exactly it is lol.

How old are the rubber hoses that feed the front calipers? If they're original then I'd start there. Probably the cheapest part too.

I figured it out guys. I never would have guessed a freakin bent clip could cause so much issues! It must have got bent when we were putting it in. Mental note: if I let people help me on my car in the future. Double check everything they touch! Lol
or better yet don't let them touch anything. Hahaha
