I have read a lot about brake upgrade today and I just want to make sure I have all the info correct. I have a 03 GTP w/stock torque star rims. So to sum it up I can install the F-body in the front and the GXP in the back so I can have the e-brake working and its all bolt on with out any extra parts. I ask because I need new brakes and rotors so I want to get it right before I buy anything. If I missed something please let me know.

    Parts needed
    Front
    Fbody rotors
    Fbody calapers
    Fbody pads

    Rear
    GXP rotors
    GXP calipers
    GXP pads

Moderate Upgrade for all GP’s except GXP
A good upgrade for all is the F-body upgrade. This is an upgrade that uses a 12” setup (grab 98-02 F-body Rotors) and using the calipers off of a 98-02 F-body V8/V6. This caliper is a dual piston sliding caliper. There are two options on picking the caliper, you can either A) just pick up F-body calipers and use them or B) Pick up Corvette C5/C6/Z51 Calipers which are also Dual piston sliding calipers, but you will also need to get the F-body caliper bracket (Part #: 18026163) as well as F-Body brake pads. The difference is negligible between the two; the corvette calipers have a smaller piston diameter and are supposedly stronger. You will also need the F-body banjo bolt.
Installing this setup has two options as well, A) drill the caliper brackets out and tap them so that you can use the GP’s caliper bracket bolts (this link talks about everything for this option: F-body Caliper and 12” Rotor Upgrade) or B) use a spacer bushing and use the F-body caliper bolts with the brackets (this link talks about everything for this option: Link Click Here). Option B is obviously cheaper and both options work well, I currently run Option B.
The stopping force is definitely an improvement over stock, I would recommend this option as a start for most, and this kit can be either pieced together using eBay or just pick up the whole kit from either ZZP or W-Body Store.
Lastly this upgrade can still fit 16” wheels with the correct offset.

    SS brake lines also help.

unless your drilling and tapping the brackets to re use the w body caliper bracket bolts, you'll need sleeves to center the bolt in the steering knuckle so you can use the F body bracket bolts.

i got my sleeves here, cost like 12 bucks for all 4.

Quickest and cheapest place to get them:
    McMaster-Carr
    mcmaster.com
    P/N:6679K16
    Qty: 4
    Price: $3.15 each

and heres a good how to for the fronts, good pics.

You're kidding right OP... There isn't really any way to justify the question when the information is so clearly spelled out!

I noticed...you don't bother searching much do you. Seems like every question you asked...has already been explained and answered multiple times and the information is usually stickied and very easy to find.

Its cool... BUT... I for one have never just asked first. If I get something in my head that I want to do. On my GP or otherwise, I will research it to death from multiple sources. Compare similarities as to what works and what doesn't. Then decide if its even worthwhile, cost/return crossover and whatnot. THEN, I might ask questions to fill n the blanks...

Yes, yours was a simple question, simple to answer as well. But I never gave my kids candy when they were whining either and they grew up all the better for it! : )

Just in case you missed the main page... There are a few sections there that'll have lots and lots of info... Walk through them, there's great ideas too in case you're bored and want to do more mod's. At the top of the main page there's a little magnifying glass thingy, it allows you to search too, making something specific you might be looking for to be found. (Appreciate the Sarcasm). Hehehe...

good luck with upgrade and enjoy it!

You're not referring to me? Because I didn't ask that question.

Only if all parents thought the same way these day the whole world would be better for it.. HAHA... Again thanks for all the info!!!! Oh where did you get your cross bars? I actually did try to find that but all i could find was the ones w/o the GTP lettering. But on a side note back home we have a saying "baby that doesn't cry doesn't get the brest" so every time the wife is near I start to cry.. HAHAHAHA
