Want more deebeez without more equipment? Bowtie port! Apparently it fixes a lot of phase issues too.

Whoa. I have an 18" xcon to get my hands on... may just give this a go and see how it does in the living room.

One still slow and loud... other one scoots just a bit.

Nice!! It seems that the general consensus is that the shape of a "wine bottle" is preferred but trying to calculate that shape for needs is ridiculous. So instead, the goal would seem to be find the total area required for a port and create that same area with the use of a bowtie or kidney bean shape

You better take pictures and provide feedback! Maybe a a/b comparison with the box it's coming out of? Sealed generally has the best OVERALL results and whatever it lacks is usually made up through cabin gain. But you can easily lose a lot of efficiency and output. I think the best part of this would be fixing phase issues. The charts look VERY promising

Yeah, it'll be interesting for sure. It'll be a while before I start it, as the xcon is in my aztek at the moment lol.

Tl? I'll have to look up a local friend and get readings before and after. I assume I'll need to do sealed and outlaw to keep the masses satisfied.
