PM'd you a pic

Thanks. It was easy install. I had to cut the amp wire from one of the original radio plugs to power up the amp. But it's all sounds great now. My next move is to upgrade the speakers and all done for sounds.
There is two plugs on the back of your stock radio harness. The smaller of the two with 4 wires? IIRC ( its been a while since I talked about this ) anyways there is a solid pink wire in the smaller plug. That is your cars amplifier power turn on wire. You wire up your HU with the wire harness adapter like normal and then you have your blue remote turn on wire from your HU... Connect that blue wire from your HU to the pink wire coming out of your dash for the Amp turn on. This will power your bose amp like normal and give you sound.
Just got the stereo installed with the Bose amp working and the stereo sounds excellent. It was a easy install but I had to leave everything out because I am still waiting on the Axxess steering wheel control. One thing I will have to buy later is a flush mount because it sticks out allot. I will have pictures later

Post pics when you're done. I didn't use a mount kit. Just made my own brackets. Let me know how the steering wheel interface works out. It's the last thing I would like to add.

Ended up installing the Kenwood KDC-BT852HD with Bluetooth streaming which by the way works great. The stereo sounds great with the Bose system and I don't think I am going to get a sub because the bass is plenty for me. I also like the hands free talking on my cell and I installed the microphone on the sun visor. I will have to get another face plate later because it sticks out about a inch. The reason I used the one is because it came with the stereo along with the harness. The Axxess ASWC-1 works great and had no problems connecting and it learned everything on the stereo and the steering wheel. The face plate, I am going to get it from www.humount.com which has one that lights up and it is a flush mount. By the way, when I wired the steering wheel adaptor it mentioned a resistor which I did not have, it programmed without it.

Here is a link to the wiring harness, if you want to use the Bose amp with the system, just take the pink from the cars 4 wire plug that goes to the factory stereo and run it to the remote turn on the new harness from the car stereo. I soldered all my connections Scosche GM02B 1988 2005 Select Buick Pontiac Car Stereo Wiring Harness | eBay I got mine from Sonic Electronix off of eBay and you can get the wiring harness for free with stereo purchase

I just cannot get over something. My red Grand Prix just came with the standard speaker system. I did change the front speakers to two way Kenwood but the rear are stock. NO BASS AT ALL! The Bose speakers in my Black GTP sound terrific! Much bass in them
Ok, installed the new stereo which was a Kenwood and I still get a slight winning noise, not as much as before but still doing it. I am wandering, is it possible to run the grounding wire (black) from stereo to a ground on the car or would that cause a problem

Well, after seeing your installation, and someone else's installation, I think I am definitely going to go with a Double Din system. Since I don't want to do the install till the world warms up a bit, I have some time to find a good one. Would love one with Nav in it.
Just installed another dash kit which is much better. If you have the money to buy one with nav. then go for it but remember for about a quarter of the price for a double din, I got a nice system with nav. also. You are probably wandering how but I have Bluetooth audio streaming and while listening to music on Pandora, I get navigation through my cell with turn by turn directions. It lowers the music automatically and speaks through the stereo speakers telling me how far to the next turn and the street name. Also sticks out about 1/2 what it did before.![]()
