Ended up installing the Kenwood KDC-BT852HD with Bluetooth streaming which by the way works great. The stereo sounds great with the Bose system and I don't think I am going to get a sub because the bass is plenty for me. I also like the hands free talking on my cell and I installed the microphone on the sun visor. I will have to get another face plate later because it sticks out about a inch. The reason I used the one is because it came with the stereo along with the harness. The Axxess ASWC-1 works great and had no problems connecting and it learned everything on the stereo and the steering wheel. The face plate, I am going to get it from www.humount.com which has one that lights up and it is a flush mount. By the way, when I wired the steering wheel adaptor it mentioned a resistor which I did not have, it programmed without it.

Nice to hear that the ASWC-1 works great. What wiring harness did you use to interface your aftermarket stereo with the Bose system?

Here is a link to the wiring harness, if you want to use the Bose amp with the system, just take the pink from the cars 4 wire plug that goes to the factory stereo and run it to the remote turn on the new harness from the car stereo. I soldered all my connections Scosche GM02B 1988 2005 Select Buick Pontiac Car Stereo Wiring Harness | eBay I got mine from Sonic Electronix off of eBay and you can get the wiring harness for free with stereo purchase

Looks like a nice clean install. What bracket system did you use to mount the head unit?
