    i have a 2000 gp with the automatic heater/ac controls and my blower motor stopped working 2 weeks ago and ive changed the blower motor that didn't work so i was told that it might be the control box and i changed that and still nothing, i don't know what else to change any suggestions? need help its getting cold in the mornings

    you try swapping the blower motor resistor yet? or test for power at the fan plug as well. check your fuses if not done already.

    i was told there was no resistor in it since it was an automatic and ive checked fuses and testes wires and there all good

    so you have power at the plug for the fan?

    and you should have a blower motor resistor, its located behind the fan.

    the first guy said it wouldn't have a resistor cause it was an automatic but i didn't believe him , ive had 2 different people look at it and the second guy say said it had power but im not sure

    if you have a 3 dollar test light you can find out for yourself.

    you did have the key turned to run and the fan turned to any speed right? if so, test for power before the resistor.

    You have a blower motor resistor. I have digital HVAC controls too and I have a resistor. Whomever told you that you don't doesn't know what they are talking about. The plug that plugs into your blower fan is connected to the resistor. Replace that box and you will be in business.

    Sometimes they are called reostats. You can tell when one is starting to go out on you only have one or two fan speeds. Replace this and you should be in business.

    ha thank you guys ill take it off at school tomorrow and i got two of the screws out i just cant get the damn third one in the back
