under the column is a plastic button, it pops off, if you stick a pen or stick up there it will hit lever and let you turn your key back. chances are you have a shift lock solenoid problem.
where is the shift lock solenoid located? where can you buy one to replace ? thank for your help
heres a link to others with the same problem http://www.grandprixforums.net/key-s...nder-7824.html
the sensors all work together, you have one in the shiftier as well, one quit the other dont what to do most of the time. they work together. with the brake pedal. unless thats been a problem before this.
when you fix the ignition solenoid the other one should work again. i believe. but could be wrong lol
check your battery, my 98 did the same thing, found the battery was dead.
