Why are you guys complicating this more than it needs to be?
To suggest subs in the rear deck is rather naive for a number of reasons.I just want a build with high quality sound and a little bass when I want it. Here is what I've got picked out so far:
Primary, lack of enclosure.
This results in the vibration of the rear deck, trunk lid, and eventually the rear window.
The more important concern is your drivers will behave differently when the trunk is full compared to empty.
6x9's still suffer from the same, but to a lesser degree as they do not produce much content below 80 Hz at a useful SPL.
Take the anger and insults out of your posts.
This is also misleading.
Distance is a primary factor in SPL.
