number one plug wire or pin #1 in the ignition control module , definately shouldent be hooked up to the plug wite that would fry any remote start on the planet thats like 50,000 volts right ? if it is hooked up to the plug wire its probably fried anyways , unless its a cheap one and its a sense wire like a timing light thing that detects when the motor is running , but most of the times remote starts are hooked up under the drivers side dash and tied into the main ignition harness , with 5-6 thick 12 ga wires and a black box and usually a few relays
