So I'm going to install a few goodies and I want them to be on only when the ignition is.

I could have sworn in my previous GTP that one of the outlets was on only when the ignition was, but in this car they're both definitely getting power with the key off.

What I need is to wire in a new outlet that gets power only when the car is on.

Anyone done that in a GTP? What's the best place to tap into?

I searched but didn't come up with what I was looking for, but it's also possible my search skills suck

add a fuse off the wiper fuse, cut the power wire to the power port. run hot wire to it.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW
