Get a gigawatts gauge if you get it high enough you can poof into the future!
Lol but being the LS and already having the DIC tell you most everything you'll every need to know.. Really the 3rd gauge is going to be something rather useless.
Get a boost gauge. That way it will motivate you to turbo when you look at it and get sadface when it doesn't read anything.
I like this guys thinking. I'm gonna wait till after I get back from deployment next year to put a built tranny in and learn to put a turbo in.
Edit: but until then I want something that's not gonna scream ur car sucks the entire time I'm driving it

^ hatchet vs genitals
Please don't do it
my dic is red, my old dic was blue im rocking an LS whats it to you?
IMO volts are pointless just get a air/fuel ratio gauge and call it a day But like i mentioned earlier something like the MSD dashhawk could easily take place of all your gauges and mount next to your a pillar on the dash and you would have pretty much all engine paramters at a glance. I think gauges are obsolete now compared to multi function displays
NOtice i didnt say a wideband a/f setup. A narrowband A/F is about the same price as a volt gauge however i dont think glow shift sells them. and another idea is oyu could always use a boost gauge because it will also show vacum which we have you just wont pass 0 lol
Oops misread your post..lack of sleep.
Thanks for the info. When I get on my computer later I'll look up a/f gauges and look at some write ups for installing and see what I come up with

A/F is easy all you need to do is run your signal wire to the engine bay. Find your 02 sensor in the back the harness for it leads up to the rear coil packs dead center. Find the purple wire and splice it on to the existing connection. Do your power and grounds with the rest of your gauges and your good to go. AND MAKE SURE YOU USE A FUSEABLE LINK for power to your gauges.
That seems very simple and easy. As for powering the gauges im also ordering a wiring harness from glow shift that can power and ground up to 4 gauges. And as for the dimmer light I'm putting a manual switch in next to my aux switch so I can dim it when I want

manual dimmer? jut wire it in to the stock lighting, all my leds are like this, the door pods, door cubby holes, and the cubby under the deck, as well as the suttle ones near my feet
