Re: LS4 gauge install question
Circut breaker is mounted behind the battery box in the trunk now. the battery is grounded to the trunk area. I bought a battery post and utilized the winshield wiper resoiver screw to install it there. That is where my battery + leads to and the factory wire for the starter is attached to. I then run another wire off the post to the fuse box where my alternator is also wired to. no issues for months now car runs great HID's never flicker and my voltage is running top notch...knock on wood... I took the time to scrape the paint off major ground connections and then put RTV silicone on top so the ground stays rust free. I also ran some 8 gauge to the tranny from the body. heres some pics my ground is pretty much buried under my intake setup for now.
here you can see where the factory negative now goes to.

another topview pic of how my wires are ran to.

and somewhere in the mess of stuff is the tranny wire i ran

Also I thought I'd note that the 0 gauge wire was from eBay I ordered 20 feet for 30 bucks shipped battery post was 8 bucks off of eBay as well. The rest of the misc electrical stuff was from ace hardware

also for the air/fuel gauge glowshift does have a narrowband gauge that will match the oil pressure gauge that should work

Nah never got around to that on ls1 tech if you you just look at all the threads i started you should be able to track most of the **** i did. next week some time ill be going full 4' intake with a Z06 maf. BTW i looked already when i posted about the Air/fuel gauge if they had a narrowband so yea it will work perfectly with your gauge setup
Re: LS4 gauge install question
Awesome man. I really appreciate all ur help. I'm gonna a jump onto ls1tech and read thru some more of ur threads. And it also sounds like the a/f gauge will be easy to install so I'm not to worried about that.
