07 GT's still go for 17-18K around here.

    GXP's are more.

CT turbo kit isn't expensive compared to cost of car.

I have done most of the math and a chip ,cold air intake, exhaust, and a tune and I will bee real close...money is not that big of issue.. I just don't want to do anything yet that will affect the drivetrain warranty...

^^THIS...for sure. A local had a 1.8 rocker/75 shot GXP with exhaust work and his transmission HATED him.

To the OP...a LS4 with a custom tune, headwork, Doug Thorley Headers, LS6 Intake, K&N CAI, Custom Catback, Poly Mounts, and D.O.D. deleted with a LS6 cam...made around 320 to the wheels...so even being MEAN and taking a 20% drivetrain loss that's only 380-ish to the crank. 400 HP is going to difficult without the bottle or boost. Which is why I'd be interested in your "math" and how you got there....since LS4 cars are "rated" at 303 horse...but most make around 250-260 to the wheels and a little more torque...I don't see how your even at 280 to the wheels...

It'll get expensive when you blow the living god out of the transmission...so I always say...when you buy a turbo kit...expect another 2G's on top of that when your transmission takes a dive off the shallow end head first.

Do the math ... check out with the list I made and add the HP these parts say they gain you. U seem to want dyno numbers , well I have none, and I know the trans is good for 400 HP. Much more and your asking for it to fail. I have a guy who I talked to about tuning my car said he can change the torque setting , raise it and get the full potential out the engine and if I really wanted to get radical there's not a whole lot I couldn't do to it . I just know what I'm willing to do ..... If I wanted a really fast race car then I would speed up my 80 trans am project... and I have already pumped a lot more then 400 HP out of one one of those....

I already listed the numbers your car will make...or pretty much close to it...a I/E/tuned GXP won't make 300 horse...bet on it.

I didn't say it would, what I did say is that it is a known fact that if you push that trans up to and past 400 it will smoke it... with said it needs a gear change and an imput shaft for sure.....
