    So i recently changed cams and realized that i forgot to put loctite on the bolt before bolting everything back up. It is torqued to spec but id like to know if it would be worth it to tear it back down to put the loctite on.
    98' GP coupe NIC Pacesetters, E85, FSIC, 2.6, heads, blah
    11.82 @ 118.4 with a 1.8 60ft

    What spec did you use?

    FWIW I never once used loctite on it.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    I used the torque spec from the gm service manual

    I believe when i did mine I just hit it with the impact and got it as tight as I could. No loctite or anything. Been good for about 7000+ miles.
    Comp G. E85, 2.8, Headers, Tune, Intake, S1X, 105# springs, 60 # injectors, 255 walbro,etc.
