Usually gen5s are not worth doing. If anything just the inlet a little is all people ever do. Not worth it IMO.

Yeah it's not worth it to port and polish a GEN V, it will likely only make it perform worse.

As for powdercoating, they has to be somewhere within 30 miles of you that does it. If you live by any bigger cities.

is it because the GenV is already perfect or what?

Oh ok i understand. Most powdercoater do that rite. Do i disassemble the supercharger prior to the powdercoating. One last thing who would happen to rebuild superchargers and shave the snout to run smaller pulleys

Yes you would take it apart completely. You can get a snout machine tool from ZZP for a rental fee and just use that. As for a rebuild, you need a hydraulic press so I think most just buy a reman snout.

If you plan on running something smaller than a 2.7in pulley on there, then worry about machine work on the snout. You'll never go that low, thats some pretty extreme modding if you think you'd need to spin that thing that fast.

you didnt have a 3/8 th socket and a 13 mm? go back and get that. be cheaper from the jy then bought and shipped.

or just cut your gen 3 lim hole larger.

This! It's easy enough to to remove and shouldn't cost to much.

Sorry to change subjects a little bit, but how hard is it to PnP a M90 blower? And what gains could I realistically expect to get from doing this?
I'm getting ready to put a N* TB on and I have a CAI. What else should I do to let the engine breathe that much better? Thank you for help and support.

The gains are already made by switching to the Gen V, it's a ported GenIII, lol. If you want bigger gains you'd have to Whipple it!
