Again show me someone running smaller than a 3.0 on 42# injectors and pump gas.....

instead of saying wrong or untrue this and that......

Jayroca had an xp cam ported heads no intercooler gen5 headers and a 3.0 on stock injectors stock tune and it was dangerous to say the least.....
Hes on E85 now but that's irrelavent here....

I ran smaller than a 3.0" with 42's on pump gas.

But the timing sucked. If I wanted 15*~ I could have ran a 2.8" all day long.

Didn't care for it. Sweet spot with high timing and a leaner AFR was a 3.1" for me.

Ran a 12.1 1/4 @111 on street tires, it's about 360hp at the wheels as it sits but I just collected all the parts for the N* Gen V swap to hopefully get me into the 11's......

going to change out the o2 sensor when it comes in the mail. my fuel trims have been going up and down between -17 and 12 and I got a P1133 code which is for the o2 sensor. its not the catalytic converter because I put a new one a few months back. trying to get this thing tuned for max power and efficiency. will be scheduling some dyno time in the next month.

Just thought I'd mention, back in the old days before e85 was around, as long as you stuck with the m90, you wouldn't need anything bigger than 42# injectors. 60's were a decent chunk more back then, so it wasn't really worth it to run them unless you were turbo'd.

I've had 2 cammed 3.0 pulley cars. I ran stock injectors in them both. Stock pumps as well.

This… I ran stock injectors with a GenV and XP cam.
Broke into the 11s on race gas too.

With that said… a lot of the info in this thread makes my head hurt.

Only reason I went to the 42.5'ers was the 2.8"~ area...19~ IPW's were kinda on the edge, IMO. Just did it for the headroom, and ended up back on a 3.0" anyways, lol.
