I started noticing that my car has a multiple random misfire. The only time I can say it does it consistently is when the car starts. After that it only does it 3/4 times per two hours of driving. My plugs are about 2 years old, new wires, I've had an intercooler installed for about 3 months and have been working bugs out ever since.

When it does misfire it only lasts for a few seconds.

Modded 3800 are known to misfire at random, very common at idle.

Changing the plugs could help but it might not.

Mine even sounds like it misfires at idle occasionally, and I wouldn't consider it modded per say. It runs great though.

Copper core plugs don't last; and after modded their life is exponentially decreased.

Just get new plugs, they're like $12~
