So I noticed this last night after going for a cruise. I'm assuming that the silicone that I put in the corners of the lim gasket blew out in that corner.

Probably a loose bolt if anything if it is the valve cover.
It does not appear to be leaking from the valve cover, there is oil all along the lower part of the lim and going down the back side of the engine as well. Its not a lot of oil so its just a slow leak, when I put the engine together I reused my old lim gaskets instead of the cheap plastic ones that came with the kit, and the end seals didn't hold up so well, looks like it didn't seal up like I was hoping it would. I'll just replace them when I do my cam.
I'd say it's the end seal. I pulled the motor/trans out of my 4 door yesterday and found this exact same leak but on the opposite side. Apparently when I did my LIM gaskets and set the LIM in place I pushed the one edge out a little bit without realizing it. It's been leaking like a ***** and I could never figured out where it was coming from. I thought it was just the oil pan. But nope, it's the end seal for the LIM.
Yeah new valley gaskets are only $10 from ZZP
While we're on the subject of these. I've done three sets of LIM gaskets and both times the box has had 4 of these valley seals. One pair being blue and one being white IIRC. Anyone know what that's about?
The kit I bought had blueish gray and red and black ones, the blueish gray ones don't seem to stay in place as well as the red and black ones. Zzp sells the red and black ones.

Here's the answer to your question about extra seals.

I'd triple check that it's oil not coolant first. The TB and or coolant turn around like to leak and look just like that.
Only way you'd "blow out" a seal on the lifter valley is if your pcv was plugged.
If you buy ZZP gaskets, best of luck. All the ones I've installed had inferior fitment.
No its oil. The tb and coolant bypass gaskets are both new.

I giggle a little when people say "new" New means absolutely nothing in my eyes. Dry.. now that's what I understand.![]()
No its not coolant, I took my finger wiped some if it off and it's just oil and dirt.

get some brake cleaner, and a rag, clean that seam up, then rtv it. theres like no pressure inside there, so it should seal. if it keeps blowing oil, theres a pvc issue for sure.
I forgot about this, I checked my valve covers and one of the bolts up in the top corner was loose. I snugged it up then I cleaned up the oil and its still dry there. I must have missed that one or something when I was putting them on.
