? Gearing is the same between a 04 and 07 since the 04 is not a Comp.

I see, I missed that part. I've been reading this thread as if it was a top swapped car with the 4t65E lol xD
I guess I should have paid closer attention to what year his car was, since in 06 the GT became the 'GTP'
    Lol makes more sense now.
So really, his tranny should be fine with what he's got, unless he does have a bad gear.

If that's your attitude, you certainly have room for improvement. Even stock GTP can spin the tires on launch. If you spun more than her, it would explain the result.

I'm not saying you are a poor driver, or worse than your mom... but let's not discount the driver factor when looking into something like this.

I checked my plugs and they're all fine. Normal coloring. Only time I use my meth is during the summer when it gets about 80°+ and yes it makes a difference. I'm going to buy a 04 pcm and hp tuner and start playing with that. Also going to get 2.5" exhaust from zzp

LOL! Here are the facts, your car is modded.. untuned.. with meth injection...
Her car is stock... tuned... and obv she can drive.

You need to tune, loose the meth, check your timing and make sure your car is running right. Then go to a back road, practice launches and rolls w/o spinning... Then race.

Get a cam, go IC, go E85, do something other than meth.

Story is as old as gtps. Guy adds headers car goes slower...

7 years ago I walked all over this sh!t talking kid who didnt like the tune I put on his car.... he had jesus tune it for $500 and it was a 3.4 headers setup. I called him out to my stock hai 97gtp and took him to the cleaners dig and roll.

The problem I find is the headers have exhaust leaks or cause the o2 sensor to read lean due to it being in a different location. This then adds tons of fuel and you go slower. Ive made header cars gp faster than stock manifold cars but you better have a trick tune and a tiny pulley if you actually want to see gains consistently.

My bet is on the meth injection making it wayyyyyyy too rich

Agreed. You have to tune for meth injection or you go super duper rich. Which makes less power... which makes you lose.. to your mum. lol

your added mods on a stock tune is why you lost, with or without the meth.
