    My car surges at idle, it's not real bad but when I first start the car it'll do it pretty good. I have no cat no u bend no resonator and no rear 02 sensor stock computer. Could this be why it does this

    And you drive a what?

    Could be a number of things but hard to say without knowing what year.

    98gtp motor is an 01 I replaced every gasket about six months ago, and the only codes I have is the no rear o2 detected

    Possible vacuum leak. Maybe a crappy MAF

    I just replaced maf today it idles better but still kinda rough n surging slightly

    vac leak, spray some carb cleaners at the vac lines.

    Could it be the o ring on the maf? I noticed when I put it in it wasn't real tight, should I try a new o ring
