My car doesn't have any power under WOT and the kr shoots way up. But under half or 3/4 throttle the car pulls hard. Would a vac leak cause this? I have the po171 code and have blown smoke through finding nothing but I'm completely lost. Fuel pressure was good haven't check it while driving though.

OBD-II DTC: P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1) read this, theres more to that code then a vac leak. bad o2, or maf could be the cause as well.

A good maf would kill the car if unplugged? O2 reads 450-980 something like that.

theres also a fuse for the maf, it turn the car off, then unplug the maf, start the car up if it runs better the maf is bad.

check the wires to the maf, and o2 for damage too.

Sorry guys I've been busy with work and school starting back up. Maf sensor unplugged while car running kills the car. Car is a lot faster with 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. Wot is very bad kr shoots up and car just puts like normal driving. If going 1/2 throttle to 3/4 once I hit over 65 the po300 will illuminate but go away once let off. Would a vac leak cause this? Only code that comes up is po171.

    clogged cat maybe then.

does it sound like a vacuum cleaner with a full bag when you floor it? then the cel flashes?

did you unplug the maf while the engine was running? thats not how to do it.

unplug it with the car off, then fire it up. if it runs better the maf is suspect.

I would try to look at fuel pressure under load. I would replace the fuel filter first and see if it runs better. Sounds like its starving for fuel.
