    It loose & moves up and down. Doesn't thread & bottom seems pushed in which doesn't allow it to be pulled off.

    mine has that too i would say its a breather

    1997 GTP . repainted in jet black with blue pearl. rebuilt motor
    with vs cam ported heads and blower.

    Yes, that's normal. It would not cause any KR.
    Bored block, Eagle Crank, XP Cam, Ported Heads/LIM/Blower/TB, 3.0 Pulley, CAI, Headers, 42.5#, AL 104's, etc...

    im not the one worried about a breather on the trans case lol

    I believe that just pops when the trans builds exessive pressure
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.

    It is the vent. As the transmission gets hot, the air expands, this vent allows the air to escape while keeping dirt and debris out. Also known as a breather.

    Who said anything about false? There is no false KR (Either in the tune or some "mechanical" problem)
