I'm particularly interested in what you did with the coil pack. ZZP's pics don't show enough for me. And if you have a turndown, what you did with the CAI. Also anyone using the alternator bracket kit from ZZP. Did it fit OK?
TIA

most seem to put bolts under the icm to lift it out of the way. billboost did a how to grind the strut mount to move the coils over, you'll need to search his name for it tho.
Thanks again. I found it. I'll look in that section first next time. Sometimes I think Bill has already found the cure for everything.![]()
Or you could do what Anthony Smith did, and move the coilpack to the firewall.

I vote move the coil packs to the fire wall, free mod! Then come off the IC plate with molded 90's. The ones I used had 5/8ths on one end and 3/4 on the other so it fit tight on the IC plate hose barbs.

I'm still in awe that I hadn't heard of many others doing what Anthony or I did in the past.
Anthony, How big a job was it making the feed wires to the coils reach?
Moving the coil pack is definitely pretty. But it's probably easiest to just stick a stack of washers under the thing and call it a day.
I didnt move the coil to clear the belt, with the WBS belt wrap kit the belt clears just fine. I moved it so i could route the IC hoses straight out the front instead of the janky way through the belts. It probably took 2 hours to remount the ICM, solder and extend the wires for the coil. I just flipped the plug wires, the long wires that were on the rear went to the front instead. The short front wires go straight down to the plugs on the rear bank, they ended up being a little long so I zip tied them up behind the motor to keep them from melting off on the rear header. Also if you notice I moved the big connector that sits on the front of the supercharger and ran it around the other side so there wasnt sitting right out front covering up my $400 PRJ rails. over all I spent one night of work on the wiring. It's definitely a clean custom look, no one else at the big Detroit meet had anything similar. All the IC cars there had the hoses run through the belts, some of them you could see rub marks where the belt had made contact with the hose. The exact reason I would never run them like that.
I would just be paranoid about cutting the factory wire harness anywhere.... screw one thing up and you have problems. But then again, my confidence in anything electrical is slim to none. That looks incredibly baller.
Anthony, Did you make that plate holding the hoses?
The plate under the hoses is the stock coil pack mount, the hold down is a cushion clamp.
Any one use the ZZP alternator relocation brackets? What belt did you use after that? It seems to need to be 2" or so longer.
