it seems the compressor map shows that after a 2.8ish pulley the efficiency drops off hard.

I'll have to look into it. Does anyone have flow bench numbers on the ZZP stage 4 heads?
I would think ZZP may be able to provide those,.
On the compressor maps, Nick posted some quite a few times showing the issue.
I would have liked it together in time for the CCSU spring show, but it's not going to happen. I'd say late april, I still have to take apart and check the used S4 ZZP heads, and gasket match a LIM. Then get the meth kit sorted out(but this will be during the install), other than that I'm good to go. I just don't want to be rushed, plus who knows I may find other goodies to put on lol. I would have done a TVS swap, but the blower I bought was too big(2300) so I just flipped it to a buddy looking to upgrade from his 1900.
If you need a hand gasket matching a LIM, LMK. I've got them down to about an hour.
Thanks, but I'll be doing it at my buddies house this weekend. I'll also disassemble the heads and make sure they're good to rock and roll. I figure I might as well get my butt in gear.
Any cracks, imperfections or issues with the valvetrain setup. IIRC the seller said that there was a slight nick on the tip of a valve stem, but never had any issues. Plus I'll take it apart to clean it anyway, and maybe swap the 130lb springs for the 105's I have.
At his shop he has all the machines and equipment needed to do it. I don't know the specifics, he just said he has all the stuff to check the heads out.
Anyone know if I'll need different length pushrods for 1.8 rockers and an NIC? The heads aren't milled, and the MLS gasket thickness is .065. I know the "right" answer is "measure pushrod length", but I was just curious if anyone else has done it on stock length PR's.
Well obviously...if they're 1.8's, that'll lead to you believe that they are: YT's, SLP...HS?
Regardless, they are all rollers.
He's just going to tell you how much more lift you get with stock rockers.
According to ZZP's cutting edge data, a stock rocker can have a ratio from anywhere to 1.6 to 1.8. Obviously I'm not expecting more lift, just less stress on the valvetrain and in turn better higher rpm performance.
Cutting edge data.
hey, what kind of fueling mods do you have right now? any kr on your 3.1 gen v?
im thinking im getting 4* kr at the top of the rev range due to weak stock fuel pump. and stock injectors, if you are kr free, then that just fortifies my assumption of my fuel system being at fault.
have racetronix pump and lucas 42.5 injectors to install soon. hoping that does the deed.
