Very Nice, so why are Pacesetters a big waste of $$. I thought getting headers was a good thing.

what you need to do now is, before anything else, you now need to go buy a set of sc rotors, cause you just killed yours, that black stuff was what was left of you rotor coating, and you took the rest off. now you will lose boost.

    everything else looks Jim dandy.

So is this build before or after the motor in the video went BOOM? Still a cool video though.

Getting headers is a great thing. Pacesetter just happens to make garbage imo: terrible welds, low grade steel bolts etc...

Not too worried about the blower rotors... Dropping in a L32, long block.

Before, hence the part 2 coming soon.

How can you not be worried about the rotor coating?

Because it takes all of 10 minutes to re-coat them.

I couldn't help but noticing it but does it say that you running an XP cam with 1.9 rockers??? If so that's gonna raise a few more questions.

With the little thing in the video about "Do Not Use These (Comp Cam Lifters)" I take it that you think those are at fault.....I'm gonna lean more toward the fact that you were running XP along with 1.9's.....which would require a ton of machine work to the head and no matter what you'd do it would cause pre mature wearing of the valve guides.

I wouldn't do them myself. There is a machine shop 3 blocks away from me that would do it for pretty cheap. Not sure what the material is, I can find out for you if you like? I wish I knew not to wire clean the rotors before hand, could have saved myself a lot of aggrevation :/ - I said not worried about it now cause the motor is junk. Plus the L32 I'm buying comes with Gen V powa

Sorry, 1.6 Rockers (Aluminum) from ZZP. Not 1.9 - Will correct that.
And not only are they loud, one of the lifters literally split in half...

Probably plastidip or powdercoat them and tell you they'll be good to go.

Pull rotors in a few thousand miles for whatever reason to find coating gone again...

Don't half of us do that with whole cars?

Edit: Ahahahah. Oh man, just saw the pic of you drilling a hole to get the cam out. Hilariously brilliant way to avoid playing with dropping the cradle. Made my day.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
