Nothing but problems after engine swap... Engine idals rough and misfires in most cylinders... Vac lines are new.. The car runs way better with the maf unplugged but the maf is new and just to make sure I exchanged it and the new new one is the same... Fuel line pressure is fine.. New fuel filter.. The car excellerates great but just idels like **** and the dash lights dim and brighten... Today while playing around with the radio I found that if I turn the key one turn the radio has no sound and the lights flicker tell I start it or turn it back... Could a short be causing all my problems or did I miss a damn ground when I did the swap... I got the grounds under the starter to the tranny and a ground by the pullies but are there anymore I forgot about... I've been rechecking everything all week and haven't got any codes and I have a spare ECM and that wasn't it... The only thing I haven't checked is air leaking in from the injector O rings but wouldn't that leak fuel?

Year of car and description of work done please. Need to know if this was a simple swap or more involved.

It's a 2001 L67 to a 98 gtp swap.. I used the 98 wiring and throttle body and ecu... Where is the ground for the icm? I'm guessing it was the ground wire by the supercharger belt tensioner? If so yes that ground is on and I'm thinking if I had missed it the car wouldn't start anyway...

The only thing changed on this engine is I added 1.9 rockers and there's no noise or ticking so I'm guessing those are on right...

When I get home from work I'm going to check the injector bottom O rings for leaks as I swapped the injectors from the 98 to the 01 and I'm thinking they're not sealing properly, maybe... My last guess lol next step is slamming my head in the door...

I have a scan gauge but I'm not sure what I'm looking for... I just use it for KR.. I watch the maf readings and unplugged it's at 30 and at idle it's bouncing around 43 when plugged back in..

check the wires to the maf for cracks or bare wire showing, also check for a blown fuse. when the fuse blows the maf dont work right.

are you getting a code for the maf as well?

Couple of things I'd try first.

Spray around the motor for vacuum leaks.
Pull the EGR tube from EGR to LIM and check the end that goes into the LIM, it's commonly cracked where the piece holds it in.
    Do a crank learn. I know..yo.....wait.
Who's 1.9 rockers? ZZP modded rockers require the rocker pedistals to be modded as well.
Back to the crank learn. I've had a couple cars run like crap. Nothing helped. A crank learn straightened them right up.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
