Ok, My name is Chris G. and I say get ready because a lot of classic car guys resent me. I recently bought a 69' Fiat Spider 124 and im looking into putting a 3.1L super&turbo motor in it and making myself a sweet little sports car. I came here to get to know about the motor I will be using and to get help with part locating, modification ideas and all that other fun stuff. My motor swap is still in the works untill my car is delivered and I get a good look at it. If its the 4-speed then its a rare car because the 4 speeds had the grip with the numbers and mine has a wooden shifter and the wooden steering wheel. So if its rare I gotta keep it stock you know, but if not, its a all out race car seeing as im a welder and a mechanic so ill build an endo cage and since it weighs 2110 pounds now, after its stripped and fiberglassed, this V6 will make it fly!

Well when the motor your pulling out is only 87.9 Cubic inches, space is MINIMAL, so I was looking at a good V6 to slam and tuck so i can haul balls and well i cant say too much. Its really kept under wraps by me because I dont nobody to know what kind of stuff im running. She will be my little secret. and hopefully I wasnt to start my own racing team with my friends.

Sell it and get an American Car
There's a reason Fiat dropped out of the North American market in 1984. Their cars.......nevermind.

lol that sounds like concrete facts!

I will take many pictures, and ill even stream video of specific parts such as motor swaps and my rear end swaps, so in other words the important parts. but most of the stuff I wont tell anyone so that you will only know from seeing it in person.

I was thinking of punching out a 302 HO and slamming that but it is WAYYY too big...... so I just gave the block to my friend with the mustang. He is going to get it punched out, stroked and move all his Perf stuff over.

Im building it strictly for racing but since the emissions doesnt apply where im moving, its going to be street legal too!
