I discovered i have a nice gaping hole near the bottom of my coolant overflow bottle. It looks as if the previous owner tried to patch it up with some kind of glue or somethin but it still leaks.Every morning upon startup i hear my belts all squeeky but its apparently from the wetness. So now after all the tilting and when i was putting it back in it all emptied so now i have no coolant in the overflow.I do have a full bottle of dex-cool 50/50 antifreeze but the coolant in my car is green.Do i add some of the dexcool for now til i get more money to buy a new overflow bottle, or can i even add water for now?

You can add water, what I would do is take off the overflow and use a heat gun or a hair dryer might work, and get the bottle very hot so you can manipulate the plastic.

I forgot, you can't go to a junkyard and get another overflow cuz the 04+ is slightly different. It's skinnier

They say that the Dex will contaminate the normal ethylene glycol coolant (green).
Bringing it up to volume with water would be best as mentioned.
