So right now I have a u-bend delete/104's/FWI/180 stat/3.4" and with 16* I get no KR. If I added an intercooler with just these mods what size pulley should I run? I plan on headers and 1.9's in the future but going to intercool it first. I dont want to order a 3.3 then a 3.2 then a 3.1 so I just want to know where to start. I can tune it myself so if I need I can run a little less timing till I get my headers if needed.

I get headers before the intercooler. More flow is always better. But after headers and a full size intercooler you could probably run a 3.2 ish but it really depends on the car and the tune.

yes headers are a good idea. you should stay on the 3.4 and add more timing.

If you had good exhaust flow and got a full sized intercooler then you would be limited by your fuel injectors and tune.

3.0 pulley imo... assuming a full sized intercooler and upgraded injectors

Stock + intercooler is a pretty common setup around here, it works well, you dont need headers and all the other crap people are talking about.

With no headers or valve train mods, Id start out with the 3.4. Definitely wouldn't start on 3.0.

    3.2... MAYBE a 3.1 if youre lucky...

remember, the intercooler doesn increase flow so to be honest your gains wont be that great right away.... however, when you get around to flow mods it will amplify the gains of them...

do you NEED more flow? not necessarily... but you wont see the potential of your IC without atleast some rockers and/or headers...

thats why everyone is telling you to get headers and flow mods...
