I downloaded HP Tuners and Scan XL. No cable though.. If the car doesn't start Saturday night I will kick on bi-polar Justin mode and RAGE drive to ZZP and wait for them to get to the office/shop Monday. That Or I will self destruct and where I stand a massive crater will form. No amount of Lithium will keep me calm.![]()

Or I could do the level headed thing and get them to send me an HPTuners BIN and just flash it here in Delaware.
Are they metal head gaskets? And I really hope it will at least run. It tries really hard to start and stay running it smelled like un-burnt fuel. I fouled the plugs took them out cleaned them up tried again with no luck, they put a sticker on the PCM said something on the lines of (SSM90 33# GT MAP and top swap was in there somewhere) might have had more on it. I had to call two times and send 4 emails just to get them to ship it out. The customer service there is awful now.
Front to crossover and crossover to rear leaks are easy to keep from happening. Like it's mentioned.. tighten a couplle turns, tap a few times..tighten, tap, tighten tap...
I think I might need an o2 extension.. so that may not be connected until sometime next week. And I couldn't find that "special nut" that connects the ICM bracket to the heads, looks like I will have to make magic happen. I don't see what the big deal is with that anyway wrench turning clearance maybe?
The nut to get the ICM off? Take off the SC pulley and you'll see the front most stud. That's the one with the 15mm nut that's quite far down the stud.
OK well I completed the top swap. The car runs and runs great. The SSAC headers were a bit of a pain to install. I am going to take the crossover off cut and weld VBAND clamps connections to it as I couldn't get a good fit no matter how hard I tried. My friend was able to make a custom mounting bracket for the ICM and coils that worked pretty well. I found two bent valves on the L67 heads but when I bought them I knew they came from a car that the bottom blew in so I assume the piston smacked the valves. It was no big deal I just took all of the valves from the L26 heads and swapped them into the L67 heads. The first attempt to start the car I had the front and rear plug order swapped so that was a fail. I could tell from the sound that it made it was just the firing order, swapped them around and it started right up. the front of the engine was making a tapping noise which my friend quickly realized was a lifter filling with oil. so after checking and checking again and then on last time.. road test.. I used an Elm 327 Bluetooth adapter and Torque for Android to scan my car. I built 0.3psi of boost and it only bliped 0.1 KR. The lack of boost was cause by a nipple on the back of the gen5 that i have no idea where it goes so vacuum leak.. I am going to get some vacuum hose and a bolt and plug that thing unless someone tells me otherwise. The only reference car I had was my moms 2001 GTP and the gen3 didn't have that vacuum connection. I bought a GTP MAP for my car but on the paperwork ZZP sent me it says GT MAP so I just left the GT MAP in the car. I do not have a BARO sensor that I saw on one of the GM diagrams.. but wouldn't I not need that as the MAP does the same thing? Will post what little pictures I have soon
That nipple is metal right... PCV.. don't plug it.
Read this...same thing if it's the nipple I'm thinking it is..

On the gen V u need the baro and the map sensor. Did u get you boost bypass solinoid wired into the correct in on the pcm harness>
here is the ICM bracket we had to make

The PCV isn't supposed to be capped or used on the back of a GenV?
The pictures are show where the nipple goes to.
Hold up.. Midnight shows ...a little out of order that you shoudl be using the nipple to a spot between the maf and throttle plate. PCV doesn't get metered by the maf, but does get controlled by the throttle plate open/closed.
im confused by what you just said bill
I meant to say..your pics were a little out of order. He should go from empty nipple to putting a hose on and putting the other end to the correct place.
