DOHC would mean more HP than TQ.

    Unless its an LSx.

Then it can have more HP than TQ as well.

Yeah. I meant you wont see numbers that close hp/tq on a 3800.

    I still say 230/265.

Yes, because everyone takes converter flash and claims its their TQ number.

Has nothing to do with valvetrain.

    Okay.. serious post time.
EPS has a Mustang dyno and you're paying them for tuning services... What is most likely going to happen is they will bring you in and baseline the car. The baseline numbers are going to be on average, lower than you expect.

Then they're going to "tune" your car. The subsequent results from tuning will be AMAZING. You will pick up an easy 30whp with their "tune".

What REALLY happened was they tuned their dyno to read a higher number, and your car isn't going to be much, if any faster.
    Good luck!

This is not most likely what is going to happen...You have no idea what you are talking about.

I don't know what I'm taking about? You might not have rigged the dyno like a lot of shops do, but you certainly took the wrong approach to tuning this car. I would wager any amount of money that I could add another 10-15whp over what your "tune" made.

Im still curious as to how much it cost to have this done.

Let's keep it reasonable guys. OP is asking for your estimates on power, torque etc.

Not a "I'd do a better job" or "your parts aren't the ones I'd choose".
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    ^^Ditto.

    Guy asked for numbers.

Not for your almighty reasonings behind the universe of tuning and dyno's.

So, STFU and keep it on track.

Real power on a properly calibrated Mustang dyno: 217 SAE or 224 Std.
What he'll probably make: 245whp SAE or 253 STD.
