So about two weeks ago i was driving normal and my dic tripped of the " reduce engine power " prior no leaks idle fine wot seemed fine also as i only bought the car a month ago so im still getting aqquanted. When the sensor went off it was a nasty noise while i stopped immediatly due to sensor. That sensor and or sound was never to be heard again but nowdays im getting so?e nasty hesitating under wot half throttle is ok ... No miss of any sort and my idle is also fine. This vehicle is stock. Autozone said they found a p0300 code but i have no lights on anymore after some seafoam that was three weeks ago. Clogged cat do this?

p0300 is a random misfire code. it wont set the light off the first time. you might need some new spark plugs, the supercharged cars like copper plugs best. a clogged cat could do this, put your hand at the tail pipe, if its puffing out steady then your good, if its puffing like a pulse then you have a clogged cat. i would start with the plugs first tho.

also how many miles on it and are there any mods to it.

This is gonna sound silly, but did you check under the hood to see if your supercharger belt is still there? I'm not sure what this noise you were describing is but I know the 04+ gp's show reduced power if you take the supercharger belt is off. Also it will foul the plugs if you put your foot in it with no boost so that would be your misfire code.

So it seems like i got steady flow thru the pipes. The sound was like a clack clack clack clack at idle because i stopped as soon as it happened then i turned off car and started it and that noise and sensor was fine it did happen around a curvy road and then i hit a bump and it went off. The belt is there

I hear things about this metal ring on plug wires. Is it the ring that goes into where wire meets plug? Could that do this?

If there isn't a metal clip inside the wire to connect to the plug, then LOL, yes...that could do it.

Are there metal sleeves that the wire plug goes into? If so take them off.

Why take them off? I heard of one case where they might of caused a problem but not sure what happened. I am just asking, maybe I should take mine off too?

160k on factory original plugs and wires? Uhhhh
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Are you supposed to be able to wiggle your caliper with lugs on and not jacked up? Furthermore when tires off is that my wannabe strut mount sound?
