I am putting headers on my 01 gtp this friday i hope, but my problem is my converter needs to be removed/moved. what do i do to get the rear o2 sensor to not set a check engine light? can i just move everything back a foot? i read that the o2 emulator does not work on 01+ is this correct? Thanks in advance!

Yes you can move it back a foot, but will need a harness extender. Or cut the wires and lengthen them yourself.

well you could get a tune and drop your pulley size (pulley isn't necessary, just a nice upgrade) and then remove that code during the tune. that's what i did. i'm running catless with headers and don't have an engine light one.

New question. The s/c I put on this motor has a smaller pulley on it then stock. Reason for buying the headers. Car has ubend and res delete on it and I have zero kr. Problem is I have no idea what pulley it is. No stamps or marks of any sort that i could see. It's a press on. How do I measure to figure out what it is? Thanks.

wow what dumb ass did that??

but you can break out your tape measure and measure the diameter. or if that's difficult because of the bolt you may have in the center, you can measure the radius (only half of it) multiply by two and find it that way.

that would be the point i'm making, genius.

3 3/4=3.75 which is roughly 3.8 given it's measured with a tape measure.

It's way smaller then the other pulley on my spare charger. I will remeasure when my wife gets here. And that's the outside rib if that is correct? Not where the belt rides. I just measured the one at my shop and it a 3.8 on the groves so I will measure the other in a bit. Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.

    It's a 3.5? I didn't even know they made 3.5's in press on.

You want to at least get some headers and check out getting an overkill tune if not a custom tune from a local.

Got headers. Tune will have to wait. Not sure if there is even anyone around my area that tunes 3.8s. Like I said zero kr tho is weird.

Just a question...but how hot does your motor get?

If below 160 on a stock tune you will NOT show KR.
