So I bought some ZZP Stage 4 heads off of a member and they were barely used and in great condition. well some how a valve spring broke droped the valve in the engine dinged up the piston (lucky the cylinder walls are alright) well i e-mailed zzp to try and get them to send me a 1 new spring and 1 new intake valve so i sent them a picture of this:

now according to ZZP's site and they guy i bought them off of they are 150# springs, but when e-mailing back and forth with zzp they say that they are 130# springs because they have a blue strip on them, can anyone confirm for me that only the 130's have a blue strip?

Also i have ran 130# springs with my massive cam before i got these heads with 0 problem, and zzp is saying that i have to run 150# springs because of how aggressive the cam is otherwise i will break valve springs, true or false? here are my cam spces:

Now if i can run 130# why does zzp say that i can't?...their original reply was because of the valve length, since they are ls1 valves in their heads and are .100 taller i would think that a 130# spring should be able to pull the valve back up before contact with the piston right?

I need my car back on the road by the 22nd of this month and really don't have the time to e-mail back and forth with zzp anymore so hopefully someone here can give me some insight so i can order new valve springs this weekend.

here are the valve springs i am wanting to switch to :
INTENSE-Racing.com: Crow Cams 130# Valve Springs

what springs zzp installs i have no idea all i know is what is one their site.

not really it is a custom grid which sits in between the intense stage 3 and 4 and from what i am told it close to the XP-Z, well on Intenses site it says to use 130# springs on the stage 3 and 150# on the Stage 4..while zzp says to use Intake - 150# valve springs, Exhaust - 130# valve springs for their xpz

but the thing is do not understand is how the 130# spring have more maximum lift support

    INTENSE-Racing.com: Manley 150# Valve Springs

INTENSE-Racing.com: Crow Cams 130# Valve Springs

i might ask some newbie questions but this is my first experience with the valve train, any heads i have gotten before have been done for me
