I just installed some SSAC headers (Speed-Daddy) and let me tell you they fit really nice without any major issue. Like BillBoost said, you will have to replace the flex section if you don't want the ticking sound. I left the original flex, and somehow I like the sound, sounds like those old over-powered muscle car hehe

About performance, it is a great upgrade and since you have a 2004 GTP, you will be able to drop pulley size safely until 3.6". Don't forget the cooler thermostat, the intake and the pcm upgrade, as well as colder plugs (AL104 is the way to go) Torque/Power is greatly increase will all those mods, I would say about 40HP/TQ.

Have fun, and enjoy the boost!

PS : +4 on the SD Headers!
04 GTP CompG: SSAC Headers, 3.6" Modular Pulley System, Autolite 104, NGK Spark Plug Wires, CAI, ZZP 180 T-Stat, Overkill PCM (Custom Street Tuning By Will), Goodyear Eagle F1 Tires, Hawk HPS Brake Pads, Magnaflow Magnapacks 4", SE Front Fascia

    +5 for SD headers

I had the V-band moved above the flex section so when there is an issue with the flex all I have to do is drop the downpipe.

I also had a O2 bung welded on the opposide side of stock SD headers, near the crossover, as far forward as possible. This gives ~ 3/8" clearance for a wideband o2 sensor.

The stock SD headers o2 interfered with the firewall and I ended up using an old jackstand and a 2"-2.25" reciever hitch adapter to dent in the firewall for using this location as well. (I heard some use an air hammer, mine was not powerful enough)
