Agreed. My plans are a 2-step process based on money & time. Step 1: 3.4" gen 3 setup. Step 2: throw on I/C, LIM, GenV, N* & rockers. I'm gonna try to score the N* & gen V from a junkyard, which will take some time, so I want to hold myself over with Step 1 for the time being.
Maybe I'll wait to drop pulleys till I intercool. I hate the idea of constantly running the engine at 180*... I feel like I'd be killing it (as if modding wasn't gonna do that first). Not to mention the crappy MPG's. However, I suppose I could switch back to the 195* after I intercool.
Thanks. I remember reading that.
One more: how essential is the ported TB/SC for running knock-free at the 3.4" level? I should mention I use 93 octane. Trying to avoid the hassle when I'm gonna toss the gen 3 & tb eventually.
