    I drained the coolant, then filled it with water only, let it run til it was hot, drained again and then added the dex-cool/water mixture. lolz yea green+orange=horrible sludgy crap

    not really, just depends on how long its been in the engine, any coolant regardless of the type will cause problems if not changed in over 5 years.

    no, any coolant left in the engine for an extended period of time with a LEAK will cause problems. i dont ever change coolant.
