Thread: Update On The Gtp Recall

I got the gtp recall done today on my 99 at a local GM dealer. Took about a hour and a half "they also were bizzy" but hay i dont notice anything but i do know that they replaced the valve cover gasket "front" some clips and some 6 retainers all for free. Wow going to a dealer and them no screwing you in the butt. i like it. OOO another highlight was a free carwash so anyone that is still wondering and hasnt seem the previous thread its for 97 to 03 gtp's bring it in first contact your GM dealer and set up an appiontment then its free parts for you. haha

Glad it went well for you, good news to hear that a car made it in and out of the dealership and you, the owner can still sit down. Though, it was warranty/recall work and at no charge to you, I have still heard stories about things going wrong still.
