On my way to Court around 3:30pm this afternoon
I noticed my Temp was Abnormally high and rising. I pull over Immedently

My coolant Hose below my Radatior came off, dumped my Dex cool out.

so i let the car sit and cool down and then put some water in it and drive the Half a mile left to the court house, let it sit and go to court.

3 hours later i had my freind bring me 2 gallons of Dex Cool. I fill it to brim, Crank the car and then continue to fill.

then after like 4 mins of it running fine, the Supercharger starts making a weird sound

i shut the car off. let it sit for a minute and then try to crank it again and it didnt wanna start and a Little bit of Smoke came from the Airfilter section.

I'm going back in a few hours to see if i can get it going but does anyone have any useful imput?

Check your dipstick and see if there is coolant mixed in with the oil. Sounds like you may have ingested coolant.

well i just Changed the LIM this weekend.

Im thinking its something to do with the fact all the coolant drained out?

or maybe that i put water into it while it was hot?

Something may have gave out and pressurized your coolant system, blowing off the hose.

sounds to me like a blown headgasket. Overheating then excessive pressure in coolant system usually equals headgasket, and now possibly a cracked block if you added the water when it wasnt running...

The Radatior hose was loose and came off and drained the coolant, then due to lack of coolant the engine temp rose.

but since ive Reattached the hose and Tightened the hose clamp on snuggly
    and refilled dexcool

unless your hose was just really loose and came off. The noisy s/c might mean its warped from overheating?

yeah it was loose, but any reason why a small amount of smoke would of came from the Air intake? or why it wouldnt Crank right and start?

Well all I can say is it was running good and it overheated... now its not running. So basically something was damaged due to overheating... could be headgasket, block, or intake gaskets even though you just did them.

Speed is an addiction the faster you go the slower it becomes.
